Consultancy: Case Management Supervisor, Yemen CO/OP Amman, Jordan (6 Months)

The purpose of this engagement is the redressal and management of the grievances field in the system from the projects implemented by the PMU Service Center.

To make a difference, the Case Management Supervisor will perform the following tasks:
  • Allocate cases/tasks to the case management associates ensuring a balanced workload within the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to case management associates on a daily basis, coaching them to enable them to conduct their tasks on an efficient manner.
  • Review and endorse cases handled by case management associates.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the case management training, ensuring this is informed by the specific training needs of the team as well as by the project requirements. This will include support in the development of training materials and tools as required.
  • Manage and monitor the attendance of the case management associates including the attendance record, the leave requests, and preparing the regular attendance reports.
  • Monitor the use of office resources and ensure an efficient use of the same.
  • Contribute to the redressal of the grievances through applying the protocols, which may include calling the beneficiaries, analyzing the cases, providing feedback to the beneficiaries, assist beneficiaries in filing grievances, and check the beneficiaries verification and/or payment documents and provide feedback.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Education
  • A university degree in any field. Business administration human or social studies are preferable.
Experience
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in customer care, call center, social work or any other social/humanitarian/development field.
  • Experience working in UNICEF/PMU is highly recommended.
Language
  • Arabic with fluency in an understanding and capacity to use a wide number of spoken dialects in Yemen.
  • English with moderate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
The Key Competencies
  • Familiarity with the Yemen context is required.
  • Empathy and excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft office tools. Respect of diversity and different ethnicities and background.
  • Patience and ability to handle work pressure.
  • Adaptability.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to learn.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
